As the out going state president of TDCCA, I wish to thank all TDCCA Officers, Directors, Committee Chairs and Members who worked so very hard over the past 4 years to make our association bigger, better and more effective. Together, we were able to have several wonderful training workshops for County Chairs and Precinct Chairs. We had many lively discussions in our County Chair Round Table following the TDCCA board meetings. My husband, Dr. Dennis Teal, and I traveled thousands of miles criss-crossing the state conducting workshops for County Chairs, Precinct Chairs and Democratic activists. We have made lots of new friends and visited lots of new and beautiful places in Texas. And, best of all, our little grandson (now 6) traveled with us on many of those trips... his favorites are the Windmill Museum in Lubbock and the USS Lexington in Corpus Christi... he will proudly tell you he is a Democrat!
